Administrative Assistant (Major Crime Investigation Team)
Location - Bristol, Kenneth Steele House- BS2 0TQ.
Hours - Part time, working 20 hrs pw.
You will play an active part in the day to day running of the Major Incident Room. Working in a fast paced environment with a swift response to crimes being key to bringing offenders to justice. The smooth running of the department and delivery of the key administrative duties are essential to the day to day business of the team. You will need to be self-motivated to be able to independently manage your workload as well as engage effectively with colleagues at all levels including senior leaders.

This role is based in Avon and Somerset at the Bristol MCIT Hub at Kenneth Steele House.
The working hours for this role are 20 hours per week. You are able to work 20 hours across either 5 days (4 hours per day) or across 4 days (5 hours per day). Working times need to be carried out between 8am and 4pm but there is flexibility regarding the working times. For example, you could work 9am to 1pm or 10am to 2pm etc.
Interviews are planned for the week commencing 7th September 2026.
To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 5 year ‘checkable history’ in the UK – ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years.
