Forecourt Assistant - Part Time

We are seeking a proactive and organised Assistant to support our team across various operational functions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a friendly demeanour. responsibilities spanning customer interaction, merchandising support, and administrative tasks.

The position is part time working 20.5 hrs pw plus holiday cover when required - 3 shifts a week. 

Responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously and provide exceptional phone etiquette to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist with merchandising activities, including stock organisation and presentation to optimise sales.
• Support the team with administrative duties such as scheduling, and maintaining organisational records.
• Engage in upselling products or services where appropriate to maximise sales opportunities.
• Maintain a tidy and organised workspace to promote a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is highly advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock management.
• Experience in merchandising or retail environments is preferred but not essential.
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• Demonstrated phone etiquette and customer service abilities.
