Mechanical / Electrical CAD Engineer

We are recruiting for a Mechanical / Electrical CAD Engineer to join our team!

Hours of work

39 hours per week, worked as 8.5 hours Monday to Thursday and 5 hours Friday.
Additional hours may be required to meet specific customer requirements.

Job purpose

Compiling bespoke design, mechanical and electrical drawings for low voltage switchboards and similar products. Full training would be provided.

Main Duties

Creating outline cabinet designs to customer specifications using already
established symbol blocks.
Obtaining requirements from in-house electrical engineers and preparing general
arrangement and single line diagrams
Updating drawings to reflect as-built products

Skills/Attributes

Experienced user of AutoCAD or similar
Interest in working with electrical switchgear or similar products
Comfortable working to deadlines
