SIA Licensed Security Staff – Night Drinks & Entertainment Venue

Location: Taunton, Somerset
Hours: Evenings & late nights (weekends essential)
Contract: Part-time / Casual (with potential for regular shifts)

We are currently seeking professional, reliable SIA-licensed Security Staff to join our team at a busy and vibrant night-time drinks and entertainment venue in Taunton.

This role is ideal for individuals who are confident, calm under pressure, and committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing entry and exit points, including ID checks and searches where required

• Monitoring customer behaviour and maintaining a safe, friendly atmosphere

• De-escalating conflict professionally and effectively

• Enforcing venue policies and licensing requirements

• Working closely with venue management and bar staff

• Responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies

Requirements:

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Professional appearance and attitude

• Ability to remain calm and assertive in busy environments

• Previous experience in nightlife or licensed venues is desirable but not essential

• Right to work in the UK
