About the Role
 
As a Support Worker, you will be part of an inclusive team supporting adults with a learning disability. You will help develop creative and person-centred ways to support individuals to achieve their own goals, ambitions and aspirations. The support you provide will vary, as everyone you work with is unique.
 
Your role may include:
  • Providing personal and emotional support
  • Supporting individuals to develop new skills
  • Helping people plan and manage their own home
  • Supporting leisure activities, employment, hobbies and travel
This role is fun and rewarding, while also being challenging at times.
 
About the Person You’ll Support
 
We are currently looking for female support staff to meet the needs of a lady with autism who benefits from structure and routine. This is a 1:1 support role, based in Ogwell.
 
Essential Requirements
  • Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience working in a 1:1 support role
  • Enjoys community activities such as shopping, café visits and outings
  • Enjoys home-based activities such as arts and crafts

Who are we looking for?
  • No previous experience or qualifications required, Free, Skills for Care endorsed full training will be provided

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident, articulate, and professional
